INDIAN BENCHMARKS end higher ahead of Q2 GDP numbers.
INDIAN BENCHMARKS closed for the week on a strong note on renewed interest from the domestic institutional investors who have been net sellers thus far.
Further , NHPC closed higher by 2% at Rs 18.15 after the company’s share buyback program of 1,230 million shares at a price of Rs 19.25 per share on a proportionate basis through the Tender Offer Process began today. India's Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd surge 7.5 percent after the company said it got approval from the U.S.drug regulators for a generic version of AstraZeneca Plc's Seroquel drug, used for the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
The crucial resistance for Nifty is now seen at 6215 and above this 6290. Support for the immediate term is now placed at 6100 and next support will be 6065.
