INDIAN MARKET WRAP UP - 05 NOVEMBER 2013

INDIAN BENCHMARKS ended lower on profit taking.

INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARKS ended lower as investors booked profits after sharp gains recently which saw both the benchmark indices rising to all-time closing highs. FMCG, Pharma and IT shares were among the top losers. Goldman Sachs upgrades its view on India to "market weight".

Further, Escort shares are up 4 percent after the management told that it is looking to hike prices by1.5-2 percent in second week of November. Shares of BHEL were down over 2% on profit taking after recent gains ahead of its second quarter earnings.
                                                                                                
The crucial resistance for Nifty is now seen at 6305 and above this 6335. Support for the immediate term is now placed at 6230 and next support will be 6175.
