INDIAN BENCHMARKS remain near 1-mth low.
INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARKS hit their lowest intraday level since Oct. 17 as blue chip shares including Larsen and Toubro Ltd fall on Fed tapering concerns after better-than-expected U.S. jobs data. Tata Motors Ltd declines 2 percent after operating profit margins at key unit Jaguar Land Rover Ltd for the July-September quarter missed estimates when adjusted for one-time tax incentives.
Further, Shares of Hindalco Industries lost 5 percent ahead of second quarter earnings on Tuesday. Adani Enterprises has surged 8% to Rs 235 on back of heavy volumes. The stock opened at Rs 215 and touched high of Rs 237 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
The crucial resistance for Nifty is now seen at 6145 and above this 6205. Support for the immediate term is now placed at 6030 and next support will be 5975.
