INDIAN MARKET OUTLOOK - 19 SEPTEMBER 2013

INDIAN BENCHMARKS gained momentum towards close on Wednesday led by gains seen in realty, banking and FMCG stocks. Today market is likely to see a gap up opening after the Federal Reserve stunned markets and decided not to taper its asset-buying program. Also, the Rupee is likely to strengthen from levels of Rs 63.38. 

FUTHER, JK Lakshmi too may see some price action as the cement player is set to hike cement price by Rs 10-15 per bag to tide over the hike in diesel and fuel prices.

Trend in FII flows: The FIIs were net buyers of Rs. 2476.35cr in the cash segment while the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) were net sellers of Rs. 1189.23cr, as per the provisional figures released by the NSE.
